Once your order is submitted through our VeriSign Secure Server, the order is sent directly to us here at our company headquarters. You will receive an email verifying your order. We then review your order and prepare it for shipping. How is my order shipped? Once your order is reviewed, the items are packed in Styrofoam coolers with dry ice or gel packs. Federal Express will deliver your order directly to your home. When opening your package, please do not touch the dry ice directly, it is caustic and can burn the skin. Warning labels will be placed on your shipment. What if there is no dry ice? Dry Ice is frozen carbon dioxide. It does not melt into a liquid, but instead changes directly into a gas. Please do not be surprised if the dry ice inside your package has evaporated, this is normal. As long as the products are "cool to the touch", you may prepare or refreeze them with confidence. Simply follow the directions listed on the product for best results. If the product is thawed, contact customer service at 1-800- 257-2782. DO NOT TOUCH DRY ICE. USE GLOVES. How do I dispose of dry ice?? Place the Styrofoam cooler outside or in a well-ventilated container and it will evaporate. How long does it take for my order to arrive? Orders ship once weekly, every Tuesday via Federal Express. Any order placed prior to 11:59pm EST on Monday of each week will ship on the next Tuesday. Any order placed after this time will ship on Tuesday of the following week . Notification of arrival date and time will be sent via e-mail from FedEx. Where does my order ship from? All orders are processed and filled directly from our pasta factory in Quincy, Massachusetts. The Finest Italian Food available goes from our factory to your front door!! Will my order stay frozen during shipping? Yes! The foam containers and dry ice we use to ship our products are designed to ship perishable items. Can I include a gift message? Yes. During online checkout there is a prompt that will allow you to write a personalized gift message. The message will be printed and included with the order at no extra charge. Prices are not printed on shipping documents when sending our food as a gift. Will my name be added to a third party marketing list when I order online? Absolutely Not. All names, addresses, email and phone numbers are kept strictly confidential. We value your business and respect your privacy. We may let you know about special sales and offers from time to time. If you're not interested, please contact us to be removed from this list. Is ordering online secure? Yes. We use the highest level of security on our website VeriSign Secure Server. All credit card information is encrypted, protecting against disclosure to third parties. Do you make custom pasta for customers? While we do custom make pasta products for some of our large wholesale customers, we cannot, unfortunately, make custom orders for individual retail consumers. Orders placed for future shipment can be cancelled or modified by contacting customer service prior to shipping. Orders ship once weekly, on Tuesday of each week. Simply contact us before that time. Please contact customer service at 1-800-257-2782 with your request. How long can my purchase be kept frozen? Products are generally good for 6-9 months if kept frozen in their original packaging. The products MUST remain frozen. Once thawed, follow preparation instructions on the package. |
